- SU TEATRO PROGRAM ASSOCIATE POSITION
SUMMARY:

The program associate supports Su Teatro’s administrative and programmatic needs. We are seeking someone who is able to work in a fun yet productive workspace, who exhibits problem solving, critical thinking skills and has intellectual curiosity.
PROGRAM ASSOCIATE
Su Teatro seeks a self-starting, adaptable, multi-tasker to support the work of the organization. The Program Associate will work with the Su Teatro team, on supporting all programming of the organization. This includes marketing and fundraising support, event support, artistic and education support, and day to day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, always changing environment, and be able to jump into new projects while maintaining daily tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, flexible, organized, willing to learn, possess the ability to multi-task, and have a professional demeanor.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via telephone and email.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tasks and activities varying daily
- Positive personality, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in a respectful and empowering way
- Ability to manage multiple requests or projects simultaneously
- Belief in arts and culture, and their essential impact on the community
- Commitment to the Latino community

Su Teatro was created in 1972, and has grown to become a nationally recognized producer and presenter of Chicano/Latino theatre and arts. Su Teatro is a year-round functioning arts center, with programs and relationships that are community centered but also have regional, national and international interactions. Aside from arts presenting Su Teatro also operates a 250 seat theater space, and 100 seat black box space and meeting and office space. As well as on site youth classes and presentations.
